Andy Farrissey (Class of 1977) was a varsity letter-winner in baseball, basketball, football, and track & field. He attended North Park University, where he was a member of the Vikings’ two-time NCAA Division III national basketball championship teams (1979, 1980). Andy served for many years as an assistant football coach at Stevenson, and also coached football at Deerfield, Barrington and Jacobs high schools, and at the University of Notre Dame. He has served as head boys track and field coach at Stevenson since 1997 compiling a dual-meet record of 198-55-1 through the 2019 season. He also led the Patriots girls track and field program from 1997-99 and served on the wrestling staff from 2006-08. He was inducted into the Lake County High Schools Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.
